The Zero Emission Transportation Association (ZETA) is a federal coalition focused on advocating for the advancement of the electric vehicle supply chain. ZETA is committed to enacting policies that drive EV adoption, create hundreds of thousands of jobs, and maintain American EV manufacturing dominance in global markets.

ZETA membership is open to U.S.-based companies, or companies with a robust U.S. manufacturing presence that make up the electric vehicle and battery supply chain and that are committed to enacting policies that drive EV adoption, create hundreds of thousands of jobs, and maintain American EV manufacturing dominance in global markets.

ZETA is also open to a variety of EV-adjacent businesses (fleet solutions firms, major fleet operators, rideshare companies, EV charging operation and maintenance, etc.).

The ZETA Education Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit affiliate of the Zero Emission Transportation Association focused on educating the public on the benefits and opportunities associated with broad EV adoption, including the creation of hundreds of thousands of jobs and maintaining American EV manufacturing dominance in global markets.

Electric vehicles are increasingly affordable, as more mass market EV models are coming onto the scene and a robust used market is continuing to develop. EVs should reach price parity with internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles over the next few years.

Electric vehicles are cheaper to own and operate on a total cost of ownership basis, due to lower fueling and maintenance costs, saving drivers significant money over time.

Around 250,000 public charging connectors are available in the U.S. network as of June 2026, and this number continues to grow dramatically.

While vehicles of all drivetrains experience reduced range in cold conditions, EVs still retain the vast majority of their range and performance, and their operation in cold weather is improving with each model year.

Many studies show that EVs reduce environmental impacts across their lifecycle.

The EV industry will create millions of robust, good-paying jobs. We need to make sure that those jobs are based in the U.S., or we will cede this economic opportunity to other nations.
