In Spring 2024, EPA announced a pair of final rules setting tailpipe emissions standards for new light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles for model years 2027 through 2032. Both of the following summaries include an overview of EPA's action, anticipated next steps, a summary of key elements in the rule, and a review of issues that ZETA raised in formal comments to the docket.
