ZETA Comments on NHTSA’s Proposed MY 2027-2032 CAFE Standards and MY 2030-2035 HDPUV Efficiency Standards

ZETA provided the following comments urging NHTSA to finalize the most stringent PC6LT8 fuel economy standards for passenger cars and light trucks and HDPUV14 fuel efficiency standards for heavy-duty pickup trucks and vans. The comment provides an overview of how the EV supply chain is preparing today to meet increased demand in the coming years along with the reduced petroleum consumption, public health, environmental, and economic benefits of transportation electrification.
