With over eight years of public policy experience specializing in environmental and transportation issues, Leilani brings a unique understanding of local, state, and federal processes and procedures to her role as ZETA's Policy Director. Leilani began her public service career in the Florida State Legislature. After transitioning to Washington, D.C., she served in the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate, respectively. Leilani holds a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Environmental Policy and Land Use Planning from Florida Gulf Coast University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Florida State University.
