Aliyah Erskine

Policy Fellow
Aliyah Erskine has worked in the environmental policy space for over five years, with experience spanning federal government, climate-focused nonprofit organizations, and local government. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) at The George Washington University, concentrating in Environmental Health Science and Policy. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies from Spelman College. Most recently, Aliyah served as a policy analyst at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where she reviewed and tracked federal rulemaking related to environmental justice and decarbonization, led geospatial data analysis efforts, and authored policy briefs on transportation-related emissions and public health impacts. Aliyah brings expertise in policy research, legislative tracking, data visualization, and public-facing communications. She is particularly passionate about advancing clean transportation solutions that support climate, economic, and public health outcomes. Outside of work, Aliyah enjoys creative writing, trying new recipes, and collecting vintage vinyl records.
